Geocache Description:

A quick and easy cache, its at a small field recently acquired by the Essex County Greenbelt Association. This field was once used by mackerel seiners to dry and mend their nets. A task the Spiderman's Grandpa used to perform during the early part of his long and varied fishing career.

Its located in East Gloucester on Farrington Ave. Part of a four street ride, East Main St, Eastern Point Rd & Atlantic Rd being the others, locals call the backshore ride. A ride on which you will see Ten Pound Island, Dog Bar Breakwater, Eastern Point Lighthouse, Bass Rocks and Thatcher Island with its famous twin lighthouses. The cache is a 6 x 9 rubbermaid container.
