This is one of 6 micro caches taking you on a walking tour around Mount Vernon. MV Walking Tour #1: “A Place to Read” (GCNK0J) has the walking instructions.
This series of caches was placed as a gift for my granddaughter’s 10th birthday in 2005. It was almost a year earlier that she made the request and suggested doing a puzzle that needed to have people put pieces together to find the solution. I hope you enjoy the caches – she will be watching for your logs.
While the final puzzle cache and one of the 6 original micros have been archived, the other 5 micro caches remain to be found. I suggest a great walk around the town with its many interesting little shops to find this series of caches.
This cache site is near a beautiful new place in Mt. Vernon, combining two types of public transportation – trains and buses. Maybe you will be treated to the sight of a train going by while you are at this site. (Yes, it's one more train cache for me!)
