The sanctuary has a short trail through the woods that leads to a boardwalk on the bog. The boardwalk goes about three quarters of the way around a pond. If you like to watch wildlife, bring binoculars. You get a good view of the pond and shoreline. My family watched turtles on the shore one time we were there.
There are three signs along the boardwalk (not anymore, see note below), and one on a platform along the trail in the woods, explaining the environment of the bog. Use these signs, following the steps below, to find the coordinates of the next waypoint, which will lead you to the cache. The cache and the waypoint are close to each other, and just a short drive away from the bog.

A = the number of letters in the fifth word on the fourth line (not counting the title line) of the Tamarack sign. (The word starts with "d").
B = the number of letters in the first word of the caption for the first picture on the Sundew sign. (The word starts with "P").
C = the number of pictures on the Black Spruce sign, minus two.
D = the number of letters in the third word on the first line on the Black Spruce sign. (The word starts with "a").
E = the number of pictures on the Tamarack sign, plus three.
F = the number of letters in the last word on the history sign, minus 1. (The word starts with "h").
G = the number of letters in the first word on the fourth line of the history sign. (The word starts with "e").
H = the number of pictures on the Sundew sign, minus two.
