This is a rural
Location with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside on a
short walk to the cache site.
Parking can be
found at N 51° 04.836 E 000° 57.393
But please do not block the
gateway.
This high point
was used by the famous Ransley Smugglers as a signal point between
the walnut tree Inn and
smugglers on
the coast. It was also used as an observation point during world
war two. It has also been written about by
H.G
Wells.
