Kuninkaankivi on Soinin ensimmäinen geokätkö. Se on helppo perinteinen kätkö.
King´s Stone is the first cache in Soini. It is an easy traditional cache.
Kerrotaan, että Ruotsin Kuningas Kustaa Vaasa on aikoinaan kulkenut Soinin kautta, pysähtynyt juomaan lähteestä vettä ja istahtanut kivelle lepäämään. Joen alkulähteillä sijaitsee Kuninkaankivi. Iiroonjärvellä Iiroonkivessä olivat kovat rajamerkit: oikein ikivanhat neljän pitäjän piirut, Kyrön, Pietarsaaren, Pirkkalan ja Rautalammen. Tämä ainakin on ilmeisesti totta.
Parkkipaikka löytyy koordinaateista N 62° 50.930, E 024°17.755.

According to an old story Gustav Wasa, the King of Sweden, wandered in Soini and climbed up to this boulder for a moment of rest. This boulder was a border stone of four old municipalities. At least this is true.
Quite a good place to park a car can be found at N 62° 50.930, E 024°17.755.
