Prepping for another Grand Canyon hike. Also wanted to see what the South Bay wildflowers were doing. Ended up hiking 9.3 miles at Calero today. Got some nice photos. Had to wade a couple creeks. Trails were muddy in places. The turkeys and butterflies were out. And the wildflowers are starting their display. Another week of warm weather after all the record rains we have gottne should make for an impressive flower bloom this year.

Geocache Description:

An ammo can on the edge of a meadow in Calero County Park.

When I dropped the cache, the meadow was full of small wildflowers and lilys in bloom. There is a picnic table at the site. Pull off your pack and take a break. You will need it for the trail ahead!
