Multi-cache bei der Osterhöhle
Dieser kleine Multi-Cache führt euch in die Nähe der wunderschön im Wald gelegenen Osterhöhle.
Die Koordinaten geben nur den Parkplatz an, die Cachekoodinaten müsst ihr erst berechnen.
Dazu betrachtet die Infotafel an der Parkplatzeinfahrt:
Wie lange ist die Osterhöhle? ( = a )
Wie heißt die germanische Frühlingsgöttin? ( b = Stellung des 2. Buchstabens im Alphabet)
Aus welcher Zeit sind die ersten Scherbenfunde? ( c = Stellung des ersten Buchstabens )
Nun ist etwas Kopfrechnen gefragt:
Die Cachekoordinaten lauten:
N 49° 31. [( a / c + 3 ) * 3 +1]
E 011° 39. [ 2 * ( b * 24 + c )]

Die Schauhöhle ist ab Karfreitag bis Ende Oktober Sonn- und Feiertags von 13-17 Uhr zu besichtigen.
Das Besondere an der Führung ist, dass die Höhle nur mit Karbidlampen, die die Besucher mit sich tragen, beleuchtet wird. Die dadurch entstehende düstere Stimmung wird noch dadurch verstärkt, dass die Wände schwarz überzogen sind.(Nach neuesten Informationen sind die Karbidlampen inzwischen durch elektrische Taschenlampen ersetzt worden)
Ein Besuch lohnt sich gerade auch für die Kinder.

This little Multi-Cache leads you close to the "Osterhöhle" sited wonderful in the forrest.
The coordinates are from a parkingplace, the cache-coords have to be calculated.
Look at the Info-board at the entrance of the parking-place:
Take the length of the cave ( = a )
What is the name of the Germanic goddess of spring ( b = position of the 2. letter in the alphabeth)
From which time are the first findings of broken pieces ( c = position of the first letter )
Just calculate:

You can visit the cave from Easter to the end of October at sun- and public holidays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The speciality of the guided tour was, that the cave was lighted only with carbid-lamps carried by the visitors. Today electrified lamps are used. This makes a very dim atmosphere in addition increased by the black coated walls.
A visit is worthwhile also for kids!
