Der Name des Caches ist ein Zitat aus einem wunderschönen Gedicht
(„Deng guan que lou“) des chinesischen Dichters Wang Zhihuan
(688-742, Tang-Dynastie). Er bedeutet soviel wie: wer noch tausend
Meilen mit den Augen ausschöpfen will, „der möge noch ein Stockwerk
höher steigen“, was sehr gut zu dem paßt, was man an diesem Ort
vielleicht denkt.
Unser GPS wagte diesen Schritt nach oben und hatte sogar
WAAS-Empfang!
Der Cache ist rund um die Uhr erreichbar. Wenn man will, kann
man einen drive-in draus machen, (gebührenpflichtige) Parkplätze
sind meist genügend vorhanden.
Da zwei der Erstfinder auf die vielleicht neugierigen Nachbarn
hinweisen: Bemüht Euch um diskretes Loggen - sollte nicht zu
schwierig sein (siehe Difficulty!). Falls jemand euch fragt, was
ihr da macht, seid ihr zum Gucken da.
The Name of this Cache is quoted from a wonderful poem ("Deng guan
que lou") by the Chinese poet Wang Zhihuan (688-742, Tang dynasty).
It says that, if you want to extend thousand miles with your eyes,
"you have to climb one story more", what could be a description of
what you think at the cache location.
Our GPS tried to do this step above and catched WAAS-signal!
Cache can be accessed around the clock. If you like to make it a
drive-in, you will usually find quite a lot of (chargeable) parking
places. Attention: you might be watched by unseen persons while
logging. Try to look like a tourist, interested in the view!
