120-acre preserve features a unique saltmarsh and a rich upland forest community, providing habitat for deer, wild turkey, beaver and fisher.
On the north side of Bay Road, a .8-mile trail loop navigates along wetland edges, rock outcrops, stone walls, old foundations and over Jeff's Hill. The terrain is somewhat rocky, with some uneven footing in places. This is a great area to explore, can be more than just a 'cache and dash'. Some bushwhacking required. Enjoy.
