Dieser Cache führt Euch auf den Natternberg bei Deggendorf. Sagen um den Teufel, der ihn hier verloren haben soll, und ein geheimnisvolles Schlangenvolk das ihn bewohnt ranken sich um diesen Hügel mitten in der Ebene.
Im Mittelalter wurde dort Wein angebaut - wie übrigens auch an der gesamten Donau.

Punkt 1: N48° 49.617´ E12° 54.589´
Hier ist ein Parkplatz und der Beginn des Aufstiegs. Auch findet Ihr hier eine Informationstafel von der Ihr zwei Jahreszahlen braucht.

X wann begann die Geschichte der Burg                                          

Y wann starb das Geschlecht der Grafen von Bogen aus                   

Punkt 2: N48° AA.BCD´  E012° EE.FFF´    

AA    = die beiden letzten Stellen von X + 4    
B       = die 4. Stelle der Jahreszahl X 
C      = 2. Stelle der Jahreszahl X             
D      = die beiden ersten Stellen von X – 11   
EE    = die beiden letzten Stellen von Y + 12   
FFF  = Y dividiert durch 2  + 88                        

An diesem Punkt findet Ihr eine Messingtafel mit einer Jahreszahl. Diese ist Z  

Final: N48° AA.GGG´  E012° EE.HHH´      

GGG = Z dividiert durch 6 + 146                
HHH =  Z dividiert durch 3 + 147                

Weitere Infos zum Cache:
- beim Verstecken des Caches war keine Natter in dem Versteck - auch kein
  Teufel
- Reisende auf der A3 erreichen den Cache ziemlich einfach über die A92
  Fahrtrichtung München - Ausfahrt Plattling-Nord

ENGLISH

This cache leads you to the so called Natternberg near Deggendorf. There are legends about the devil, who left this hill here and about a mysterious nation of vipers living in it. In the middle-ages, this hill was a vineyard.

Stage 1: N48° 49.617´ E12° 54.589´
At this parking area is the starting point of this hike. You will find an information-board, from which you need two numbers / years. For cachers that don´t speak german, I added a picture, showing the place on the board where you can find the two numbers (click here).

X in which year startet the history of this castle                    

Y in which year did the family of the "Grafen von Bogen" die out                

Stage 2: N48° AA.BCD´  E012° EE.FFF´    

AA    = the last two digits of X + 4    
B       = the 4th digit of X 
C      = 2nd digit of X             
D      = the first two digits of X – 11   
EE    = the last two digits of Y + 12   
FFF  = Y divided by 2  + 88    

At this waypoint you will find a plate out of brass, on which you will find one more year. This one should be Z.                

Final: N48° AA.GGG´  E012° EE.HHH´      

GGG = Z divided by 6 + 146                
HHH =  Z divided by 3 + 147                

Some more information:
- when I hid this cache, I found no devil, or viper - but maybe....
- travelling on the highway A3, you can reach the cache by turning at the cross
  Deggendorf to Munich (A92) and then exit "Ausfahrt Plattling-Nord"

Und noch eine Bitte / and an additional request:
Die Cachedose hat eine Gummidichtung im Deckel, womit Tüten und ähnliche Hilfsmittel zur Abdichtung eigentlich überflüssig sind. Achtet aber bitte beim Verschließen darauf, daß nichts zwischen Dose und Deckel zu liegen kommt. Danke für Eure Mithilfe.
