This cache leads you to the so called Natternberg near Deggendorf. There are legends about the devil, who left this hill here and about a mysterious nation of vipers living in it. In the middle-ages, this hill was a vineyard.
Stage 1: N48° 49.617´ E12° 54.589´ At this parking area is the starting point of this hike. You will find an information-board, from which you need two numbers / years. For cachers that don´t speak german, I added a picture, showing the place on the board where you can find the two numbers (click here).

At this waypoint you will find a plate out of brass, on which you will find one more year. This one should be Z. 16.6.2011: the ruin can no longer be accessed! Here the

- when I hid this cache, I found no devil, or viper - but maybe....
- travelling on the highway A3, you can reach the cache by turning at the cross
Deggendorf to Munich (A92) and then exit "Ausfahrt Plattling-Nord"
