Ahoy Mate, Well shiver me timber, A pirate treasure in Perry Country ? Only a small child could believe that a three-mast pirate ship could have sailed up this small stream to stash their plundering of a Kings ransom of treasure. But yet, here it is, well hidden in a large ammo can. No high seas, just a small stream that you don't have to cross to find the pirate booty.

To start with there are twelve keyed identical treasure chests, with gold coins and jewels inside. Some of the jewels are small and may not be suitable for small children. For the first to find in addition to a treasure chest is a pirate hat. I have placed a camera in the cache to be used to take a picture of the finder and their treasure chest.

As for now the Vagabond Pirate Travel Bug is watching over this stash. I have a feeling he will be leaving soon to continue on his quest.

The road to the parking lot is at N 40 19.963 W 077 06.822

Came across a few dead deer on our way down the hill, and the gps kept leading us in circles, but we eventually found it! Nice one!

While in the area I decided to snag this one before my way home. The sun had just set, however the snow covered forest illuminated the area. I actually passed GZ on my way down, but quickly found my error and the cache. TFTC

The Mrs. and I headed north to do a little Perry County caching today. I read about this one at home, but decided not to stop after seeing jimtkirk's note about his flat tire. Then as we were heading up the road I saw this was along the way, and decided to see what it looked like. Sure glad I did as this is an AWESOME spot for a cache. The Mrs. stayed with the car at the road and I walked the 300' to make the find. What a nice spot! Grabbed a TB before it spent all winter here and SL. As with all your others I have found...WELL DONE! TFTC and TFT!!

Not a hard find, just watch the road into the parking lot. I popped my front tire. It was in bad shape so it needed replaced anyway. Nice big sharp rock on the left side. TFTC
