The listed coordinates are not the location of the cache, but are of the Bedford Depot at one end of the Minuteman Bike Trail.
The AMC Tuesday night bike ride series starts in mid May with a 15 miler from Lexington Center. After about an hour we took a quick water stop at the Bedford Depot at one end of the Minuteman bike path. My friend Tom asked me if I had ever seen the Wizard Garden on the bike path. I said no, but would like to visit it. I didn’t have my GPS with me, so I noted that my bike odometer was reading 11.33 miles at the Bedford Depot.
When we arrived at the location I knew that this would be a good spot for a cache. My odometer was now reading 12.36 miles into the ride. When we got back to Lexington, I noted that my odometer reading was 15.00 miles at the intersection of Hancock St. and the bike path. So now I knew that I could find the location of the garden again from either the Lexington end or the Bedford end of the bike trail and drop off the cache.
Note that not all bicycle odometers are calibrated perfectly. Mine is no exception. The information given above is enough for you to calculate the approximate location of the cache and get there using any measuring device.
The container has gone missing twice, so I have converted this cache to a virtual find. To get credit, you must email me with a brief description of what you see when you get to the cache location.
