DK - NYSTED HAVN.
Denne cache er lavet for at vise et af de smukke steder der findes på Lolland.
Nysted er en af Danmarks mindste købstæder. Fra havnen er der udsyn over til slottet Ålholm, som er opført ca. år 1200, parken kan besøges. Byen hørte under slottet indtil 1409, da Erik af Pommern gav det købstads rettigheder.
Afsæt rigelig tid til jeres besøg. Gå en tur op og ned af de små gader der går mellem hovedgaden og havnen og se de små gamle huse. Stop ved mindesmærket for piloterne fra 2. verdenskrig. Fortsæt langs vandet mod syd. Se den gamle forsvarsskanse (Skansen har givet navn til området ) ved ind-sejlingen til havnen. Når I har frit udsyn mod syd kan I se vindmølle parken på Rødsand.
Har I lyst til at overnatte på campingpladsen, så skal I nok bestille plads i meget god tid. Håber I får et dejligt ophold.

GB - NYSTED HAVN.
This cache is made to show one of the beautiful places on Lolland.
Nysted is one Denmark’s smallest city. From the harbour there is a free view over to the castle Ål-holm, which is built about year 1200, the park is open. Originally, residents were subjects of the castle, but were emancipated in 1409 when King Erik of Pommern granted the incorporation of the township.
Take a rest. Walk up and down through the small streets, from the main street to the harbour, with the lovely small houses, stop a take a minute at the memorial for the pilots from 2. W.W.
Walk on south a long the seaside, see the old fieldwork (in Danish Skanse = name of the area) by the gate to the harbour. When you have a clear view to the south, you can see the windmill on Rød-sand.
If you want to stay on the camping place, you have to make your reservation in advance. Hope you will have a pleasant journey.
