A small plastic container having nothing else but cache note &
logbook, pencil and sharpener.
You better wear gloves. A flashlight is not required but it
would be helpful. Beware snakes - one has been spotted at the
cache! There may also be nettles.
This is the first cache on Nauvo main islands.
Some of the ticks in the archipelago carry meningoenchephalitis
and some carry Lyme disease
(borreliosis). Remember to check for ticks afterwards.
Borreliosis can be treated with antibiotics, for
meningoenchephalitis there is no treatment, but a vaccination can
be taken beforehands.
Kätkö on pieni muovirasia, jossa ei ole muuta kuin kätkötiedote,
logi, kynä ja terotin.
Käytä hansikkaita. Taskulamppu ei ole välttämätön mutta se olisi
hyödyllinen. Varo nokkosia ja mahdollisia käärmeitä. Kyykäärme
nähty kätkön lähellä!
Saaristossa on punkkeja, joista osa kantaa Kumlingen tautia
(puutiaisaivokuumetta) tai borrelioosia. Muista
punkkitarkistus maastoreissun jälkeen. Borrelioosia voidaan hoitaa
antibiootein, Kumlingen tautiin ei ole hoitoa, mutta siihen löytyy
ajoissa etukäteen otettava rokotus.
