Well Sir, you wouldn't believe me even if I swore to my
mother's ashes that this is all true. |
| Captain: |
Then you just have to try me, won't you? |
| First mate: |
Aye aye Sir. So, I hid the stash exactly as you told me to
and then started measuring the steps. I went straight to WEST but I
only measured 3420 steps until something quite weird
happened. |
| Captain: |
What? |
| First mate: |
This is hard to believe, but I swear I was attacked by a
bunch of trolls or giants or whatever beasts they were. Then they
sort of tied me up and started discussing about eating dinner,
which I figured wouldn't be such a good idea on my part. There were
three of them and they carried on discussing about to whom they
should go to have this dinner. |
| Captain: |
Are you saying that you lost the stash? |
| First mate: |
Well, no and yes but mostly no, since after a while their
discussion had turned into a fight, since it seemed like two of
them had their kitchen equally far away, so they couldn't decide
which one to use. At that point I could loosen the ropes and slip
away. After that I just ran as fast as I could and that's how I got
here. |
| Captain: |
For how long did you run anyway? |
| First mate: |
I have no idea but I know I ran straight towards some
cardinal point. I guess it was about as long as the first part of
the trip. |
| Captain: |
You must be kidding me. |
| First mate: |
I kid you not, Sir. I guess we could follow my trail back to
the woods. |
| Captain: |
I doubt that William, I doubt that... |
