Pöyliövaaran hyppyrimäki -kätkö sijaitsee Pöyliövaaralla kuntopolkujen läheisyydessä.
The Ski jump of Pöyliövaara -cache is located near the the walking paths of Pöyliövaara.
Pöyliövaaran hyppyrimäki oli aktiivikäytössä vuosina 1937-1944, jolloin se oli myös Suomen suurin hyppyrimäki. Suurmäen korkeus notkosta hyppyrille oli 59 metriä. Mäkiennätyksen 74 metriä hyppäsi Lauri Pietikäinen v. 1941. Suurmäki tuhoutui Lapin sodassa v. 1944 ja paikalla on enää jäljellä mäen tukipilareita.
The Ski Jump of Pöyliövaara was used in years 1937-1944, when it was also the biggest ski jump of Finland. The height of the Great Ski Jump from the hollow to the take-off-place was 59 metres. Lauri Pietikäinen jumped the longest jump 74 metres in the year of 1941. The Ski jump was destroyed in the wartime in 1944 and now there are only left the pillars of the ski jump.
Alkuperäinen kätkö sisältää seuraavat esineet:
muovinen sukkula-lentokone, Painonvartijoiden mittanauha, kilpikonna, kaulanauha, hevos-avaimenperä, muoviankka ja nalle. Lisäksi normaalit kätkötavarat: vihko, kynä, kumi, teroitin ja tiedote.
