Very buggy during the warm season!
The Mill Creek Trail entrance can be found behind the Stop &
Shop at the Mill Creek Mall. The Trail loops back on itself and
will take you close to the NJ Turnpike. As you walk you'll notice
an extensive amount of tree trunks in the saltmarsh. The tree
trunks that remain belong to a cedar forest that once covered a
good portion of the Meadowlands during the 1700's. During that time
period, most of the cedar trees were lumbered and the remaining
died due to the salinity in the water. For more information on the
