Within a month or two I will have to change the puzzle on this cache, so if you want to find it in the original format as it was intended, better get at it. PS If you've found it I'm still looking for better ideas on how to adapt the puzzle without the original twist.

Unique twist indeed! The starting coordinates seemed a bit off - probably due to signal bounce from the nearby buildings - but it wasn't hard to figure out where I needed to be. Not having a vehicle (flew in from Ottawa) but having done much caching on foot, I resolved to make the trek, but eventually gave up when I ran out of sidewalk (temporarily, as it turned out) and took a bus, which got me quite close to the cache location. From there I proceeded to the cache without incident and was happy (considering the age of the cache) to find that it was an ammo can. Took a three-dimensional interlocking metal ring curiosity, left a Veritas pocket screwdriver, and dropped off a geocoin.

I've been meaning to find this one and cross it off my list for a while now since it was the closest unfound cache to my home. Finally got around to making the trip to sign the log. Great place for a cache.

When I first started caching, I wasn't ready for some of these multi/puzzles. So this one stayed on my GPS, haunting me everytime I drove near it. Finally took at close look and solved this one this past winter with no problem at all. But it took me until now to get a chance to get out to stage 2. Was in the area getting wet while finding other caches and saw that I had this sitting on my GPS. Now it was time. Except it took one wrong approach due to high water before coming at it from the right direction. Still, lots of standing water around and the long grass was soaked. I got more wet doing this cache than I had the previous bunch that I did in the forests.

4 years old and this one's still going on strong. Great cache hide! Grabbed a kids watch and dropped a couple of kinder-toys. TFTC
