This cache was placed in observance of our first wedding anniversary. The cache is placed near where the ceremony took place. It is located off a foot path at the Balsam Glade Picnic Area in the Sandia Mountains, just beyond the ski area. Be sure to bring $3 for parking and a camera to enjoy the view!
Park at the lower area of Balsam Glade Picnic Area (N35 12.888, W106 24.494). The head of the trail starts at the picnic table/BBQ just beyond the large shelter (N35 12.884, W106 24.473)
The cache is in a pastic container and is identified with a geocaching sticker. The original contents include:

We hope you enjoy this cache - it's one of our favorite places in New Mexico and definitely in the Sandias. While deciding where to place this cache, we saw quite a few caterpillars...maybe you'll see some too! Please replace cache in original location and be sure to hide it well!
