Welcome to the Aichi Prefecture Health Park. I found this great
park on a visit into the areas around Nagoya. In keeping with the
fitness theme of the park this is not a single waypoint cache. This
cache will require you to visit various parts of the park. The Park
is accessed from the Obu Station on the JR line that goes between
Nagoya and Toyohashi.
Now onto the cache
At the first location is an interesting fountain(already logged
as a locationless)(information to hand indicates that this fountain
is sometimes only a rock sculpture). On this fountain is a set of
five numbers, record these numbers as ABCDE.
By performing some number substitution and calculations the next
waypoint can be found at.
N 34' 59.B+D,2*B,C-D
E136' 56.2*B,A,B
At this location there is a sign with three distances on
it.
Record the longest distance as FGHI.
Record the shortest distance as JKL.
The next waypoint can be found at
N 34' 59.K-F,G,L
E136' 56.K,F+G,I
At this location stop to enjoy the view and take time to count
the number of white panels.
Record this number as MN.
Now with all of the numbers you have recorded you should be able
to calculate the location of the cache.
N 34' C,E.N,F,M
E136' J,B+D.H+M,B,N
Enjoy this secluded area of the park but be careful as you may
be observed from afar.
Cache is a three litre container that contains items of a fitness
nature
Hope you enjoy the park as much as we did. The best part for us
was the walk over the various rocky surfaces, a real treat to my
soft feet.
