A two-stage multicache at a popular fishing spot/conservation area.
Parking for 2 cars or so at N 42°10.571 W 71°17.982. The first stage is a small waterproof container; the second stage is a small camouflaged plastic container with room for the log only. Thomas Jefferson awaited the first-to-find. The site is that of the Kingsbury Grist Mill. The present mill (built in 1819) and Kingsbury Pond are now a Town Conservation Area, under the care of the Kingsbury Pond Grist Mill Committee, which is overseeing a restoration with the goal of eventually having a working grist mill. The mill building is an intriguing one, so take a look around. There is Absolutely No Need to go near the train tracks.
Some dining suggestions: Breakfast: Blue Moon Bagels (@ N42°11.650 W 71°17.320); Lunch: Brothers's Luncheonette [a.k.a. 'The Counter in the Brothers Grocery Store'].
