Sudoku is very simple to learn, requires no calculations, and provides a surprisingly wide variety of logic situations. All that's required are brains and a little concentration. Sudoku has become one of the most popular puzzles in Japan. The word "Sudoku" means "Single Number"... "SU" can mean "number" and "DOKU" can mean "single".
The rules are very simple... " Fill in the grid so that every row, every column, and every 3x3 box contains the digits 1 through 9. "
