101 Excursion: Eucalyptus Traditional Cache
CC: Cache was moved 75 or so feet. Someone placed an animal skull on the cache. Not a cool one! Place is disgusting. Time to go.

Cache is located in a Eucalyptus Grove just off 101.
I have always liked this area. I have never stopped here and looked
around. This area was nice and quiet. Just a little road noise from
101. There are places to stop in both directions, however, this
cache is on the southbound side.
GPS reception was pretty poor in this dense area. Even in the
middle of the road. I increased the difficulty as you will probably
have to search 100' area. You can park within 30' of the cache in a
safe turnout. There is not a fence on this side. The hard core
experienced folks should be able to locate this without hints. It
is 1.5 hide (where a 1 is visible and no camouflage and a 2 makes
you think) but due to the spotty reception, I made it a 2.5. The
cache is a big nut jar from Costco. Lots of room for stuff/travel
bugs.
The secondary theme of this cache is The Junk Drawer Cache. I
seeded this with stuff from my junk drawer. This is a drawer in our
kitchen that could be used for some important kitchen stuff, but is
filled with odd and ends that have no home. This is usually stuff
you don't want to get rid of, but don't really need. Maybe a fellow
GeoCacher can use something in here!
There is no poison oak near the cache and it is not near the creek.
