What could be
more geo Santa Cruz than a geocache near the Longboarder
Surfer Statue?
The cache is named after the inscription at the base of the
statue. Bring your board and catch a wave (not many caches out
there though!) Cow-a-bunga!
Why not sit on one of the benches that are left and soak up
Santa Cruz, the Boardwalk, the sun, the ocean, the surf, the
surfers, whatever!
There is a nice plaque of the Santa Cruz Surfing Club. There is
also a nice plaque of the donors who made this happen that I
especially appreciate.
Bring your own pen or pencil.
Mr. GeoSafety said to let you know that the cache is on the safe
side of the guardrails.

7/30/7 Note: the red cache container sits very loose within its
camo and it has a tendency to fall out of the camo when replacing
the two to their hiding spot. Please make sure that the cache and
camo stay together as you put them back.
