A small park in Menlo Park dedicated to the memory of Stephen Gravelle (1956-1975).
I drive past this small park almost everyday and have always wondered about the tree closest to the sidewalk, one of the limbs is entirely a different color than the main trunk. You might want to check it out for yourself first before locating the cache.
As I have started finding more caches recently, I've noticed that many of the caches that I've been finding are micros. I definitely enjoy finding micros in hidden locations, however sometimes I have stuff to trade or TB's to drop off.
The cache container is an ammo can measuring 10"L x 3.5"W x 7"H, and has plenty of room for those larger trading items or TB's. Originally contains log book, pen, koosh, Play-Doh, coin purse, and key chain bottle opener.
There's actually a memorial marker at the far end of the park closest to Bay Rd for whom this park was dedicated to, I never knew about this marker until placing this cache.
I recommend parking here --> N37° 28.697' W122° 11.178'. By the way, the sign says that the park is closed 1/2 hour after sunset to sunrise.
