Warning

Please note: To use the services of geocaching.com, you must agree to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

This is our first cache that we have hidden and hope you enjoy the hunt. This cache is accessible by hiking or mountain biking the majority of it. It should be fairly easy to navigate through for adults as well as kids. Bring some bug juice, as the name proclaims, bulldogs (AKA horseflys) and mosquitoes are prevalent in the area.
This cache is in a clear plastic food storage container with a white lid. It is carefully wrapped in its own rain jacket so that it can stay dry on the wet days.

Its contents include:
FTF certificate in frame
trademark #82 whistle
fan
mosquitoe head net (hurry, you may need this one!!)
parachute soldier
paddle ball game
log book and pencil

As this is the first cache that we have hidden, we have included a black and white zebra piggy bank (yup, labelled #82) with a cache of its own to celebrate the event. We ask that whomever finds this one first, take the piggy bank and let us know it is in good hands. Keep him for yourself or send him on a vacation to wherever.

We had the help of our yet un-named geocache search partners to locate a spot and hide the cache. They are great friends and we have had a great time learning about geocaching with them. I think they are hooked!!

We would also like to ask that if you do find this cache that you give us some feedback on the suitability of the location, how it is hidden, etc. so that we can learn more for the next one. Your help is sincerely appreciated. Also, if the cache is not in good condition, please let us know.

Enjoy the hunt and here's to being part of one of the most amazing concepts and groups that we have ever come across.

I give this one the old college try but came up well short. I had x-country skied this area a couple times in the past couple winter and there was always signs of the different trails that are in the area. I guess they take these signs down in the off season. =( So after trying this trail and that trail, and a trail over here and never really getting anywhere closer than about 1 km I gave up. Will have to try this one in the winter, I guess.

Cache needs fixing up and a new logbook as it had been trashed by animals.

Found it with Dino. Nice long walk in the woods and even a view of Rice Lake. Found the Humpback but you forgot to mention the other insects that are found along the path (ticks). The cache had been broken open by wildlife and was scattered around the area. Logbook was missing. Gathered up the pieces and dried out the contents. Didn't have a replacement logbook so couldn't sign. Coordinates are actually N 49°56.805 W 095°33.356 about 50 feet from the posted coordinates. TNLN (couldn't sign the log) TFTH.
