Geocache Description:

Koordinatet angiver stedet, hvor man kan parkere og hvorfra turen starter. På p-pladsen finder du en informationstavle, hvor du bl.a. kan læse om områdets historie og natur. Det er en god ide at medbringe kaffen eller madpakken, og i sommerperioden er der mulighed for en svømmetur. Turen bringer dig på en rundtur i området og varer ca. 1 time.
Cachen indeholder ved begyndelsen FFC, logbog + blyant, kippers og en masse bytteting.

På dette sted finder du et filmhylster ved et træ, hvor i der ligger en seddel. På sedlen står koordinaterne til post 2, samt opgaven der skal løses på posten. N 56° 30._____ og E 009° 10._____
Fortsæt ad stien rundt om søen og drej til venstre, når du når ud til grusvejen.

Birkesølejren er en hyggelig spejderhytte på toppen af en bakke. Her finder du svaret på opgaven, som du fik ved post 1. D___
Fortsæt ad stien mod nord forbi hytten og drej til venstre, når du ser en pæl med blå top på din højre hånd.

Denne post findes i den gamle grusgrav. Er du botanisk interesseret, så kig dig omkring hernede. Her ses bl.a. to arter af orkideer, tre arter af ulvefod og en af Danmarks kødædende planter, rundbladet soldug. Disse planter kan ses i maj-juli.

Så er det kaffetid. Sæt dig og nyd naturen og udsigten over Jordbro Å. Du kan også vente med kaffen til du er tilbage ved søen.

The coordinates are for the place where you can park and from where the route begins. Here you find an info board, where you can read about the areas history and nature (in Danish). It’s a good idea to bring your coffee or picnic basket or in the summertime your swimsuit. The walk will take about 1 hour.
The cache contains at the beginning FFC, log + pencil, kippers and exchange-stuff.

During World War II the area west of the lake was used by local members of the resistance movement to take down weapons from England. This happened during winter – which years? A___ - B___
The group was caught by the Germans, how many was sentenced to death? C___

At this place you’ll find a filmcanister in a tree, inside you find the coordinates for the next stop and the task there. N 56° 30._____ and E 009° 10._____
Continue at the path around the lake and turn left, when you reach the gravel road.

”Birkesølejren” is a scout hut on top of a hill. Here you find the answer for the task you got at post 1. D___
Continue at the path heading north passing the hut. When you see a stake with a blue top on your right, turn left up the hill.

You’re now in an old gravel pit. If you like to study flowers, take a look around. In may-july you’ll find two species of orchids, three species of club moss and one of the Danish carnivorous plants, sundew (Drosera rotundifolia). How many posts are there under the little bridge? E___
Follow the path on the other side of the bridge.

Coffee break! Sit down and enjoy the nature and the view from “Jordbro Å”. You can also wait till you get back to the lake. How many boards make the seat of the bench? F___
Follow the path up the hill and along the gravel pit.
