This ammo can is located at the far end of a very popular trail.
Allow about 3 hours to complete the 4.6km trail. The trail is in
great shape and is well marked. At the cache site, stop and enjoy a
picnic, campfire, swim or some great fishing.
The cache is located inside Whiteshell Provincial Park and so a
Manitoba Provincial Park Pass is required to access the park.
Provincial parks protect unique natural, cultural and historical
sites; visitors should be respectful and remain on existing
paths/trails.
Update: There is no adminssion to Manitoba Parks for 2009 and 2010
so no park pass is required! Enjoy!
Congrats to devildawg for being FTF!

April 21, 2009 by rumormang (13 found) It was +10 in the sun on a windy day with one rainboot full of water, and the geocache in the other! The waterfall was rip roarin' today. No sight of the trail in that area, but wow, was it beautiful. Had fun sloshin' in the water going up the falls - I almost remembered childhood. Further on in the trail, I hit the marsh....hmm I thought it was the trail....damn deer, and got a bootful of water. Devildawg enjoyed the laugh and caught the scene on camera. I didn't remind her that it was only last summer that when looking for another cache caused her to loose the trail herself, with her SUV............. I really enjoyed looking in at all of the goodies you had to offer in your cash. TNLN

August 23, 2008 by Flotsom and Jetsom (706 found) Found while hiking the trail with four friends including two from Poland. Lots of drama here. First, Jetsom took a different route along the lake and was separated from the group. Flotsom, naturally became worried and blew the whistle (literally). Jetsom met the group at the end of the trail and was suitably sheepish (he heard the whistle and joined the group as soon as he could). The plan had been for lunch at the end of the trail (muffins, scones, cheese and drinks). Due to a misunderstanding one of the hikers had left the cheese and drinks in her car. Well, muffins and scones were good along with the water. Found the cache quickly and logged in. TNLN TFTC.

July 19, 2008 by MHz (3211 found) Since this morning was such a nice cool day, we decided to hike this trail and check on this cache. Startled a bear and a garter snake on the way in. Cache is in great shape! Removed a pen and added a couple of pencils and a pile of new swag. I'm slow on the trail so took us 3.5 hours round trip. MHz and a very patient Gord from Morris
