Geocache Description:


The Giants ventured out of the wildnerness to plant this series. The first stop is a mini-micro. Stop and enjoy the view for a bit when looking for this step. The coordinates to the final cache which is just a short walk away and is a regular cache with many items in it, including a book. Starting 10 years ago, the city redid the road on main street and created opportunities to look out over the lake.
The area near the final cache is wonderfully maintained by the local Women's Club. Unfortunately one of the members whom I had the advantage to work with for many years died this past year. Enjoy the visit and beauty of downtown. Take a moment while in the area to think of those who have devoted their time to share beauty with others.
There is no place to sign the first stage. You can log and get credit for finding each stage. Special thanks to Kent1915 for the micro.
