Updated 12/7/21 This is a very nice walk through the Halfway Pond Conservation Area. It is somewhat hilly but you'll get a glimpse of Halfway Pond and the opportunity to eat some blueberries if you go at the right time of year. . It is just over 1.5 miles round trip. The loop trail winds through the pine forest with occasional longer views. Stop and enjoy the peaceful setting at the bench in the pine grove. The cache container is a small lock&lock a bit off the main trail.
To reach the area by car turn onto Mast Road from Long Pond Road (see reference point) and follow to the Wildlands Trust parking lot, about two miles. It's a dirt road but well maintained. (The road from the south is no longer maintained)
