Šejby 655 m n. m.
Šejby je obec nacházející se v Novohradských horách témer na hranici s Rakouskem. Vznikla vymýcením lesa do okrouhlých pasek nemeckými osadníky. Majitelem první tvrze byl v roce 1437 Sokolík ze Šejby. Poté zde vznikla ješte druhá tvrz, ale dnes už nikdo neví, kde se nacházely. Obec byla vzhledem ke své poloze vysídlena v padesátých letech.
Je zde pouze príležitostný hranicní prechod pro peší v dobe konání procesí ke kostelu v Dobré Vode.
Cache je umístena nad obcí v míste pekné vyhlídky nejen na Šejby, ale na Novohradské hory a Dobrou i Hojnou Vodu. Kostel na Dobré Vode je z této strany více zarostlý, ale vežicky jsou videt.
Po založení cache jsme v blízkém okolí našli veceri (viz prílohy).

Sejby is a village situated in the Novohradske hory (Newcastle mountains) almost on the Austrian border. It arised from the removal of the forest into the rounded glades by german colonists. The owner of the first citadel was in the 1437 Sokolik ze Sejby. After it there grew up yet another citadel, but today nobody knows where it was situated. The village was due to its position displaced in the 50´s. There is only an occasional border crossing for pedestrians in the days when the procession to the church in Dobra voda (Good water) is held.
Cache is situated above the village in the place of a nice view, not only a view of Sejby, but of all Novohradske hory (Newcastle mountains) and both Dobra voda (Good water) and Hojna voda (Healing water). The church in Dobra voda (Good water) is from this side a bit overgrown, but the towers can be seen.
After founding of the cache we have also found a dinner in the close surroundings (see supplements).
