My first Geocache in New Zealand! I just travelled down from South Korea on board the Rainbow Warrior. The ship docked in Whangaroa for a short time while we were preparing for 20th anniversary of the bombing of the first ship.
The cache is pretty quick and dirty - I had 20 minutes to make it before the ship left :)
The Penguin Travelbug that is in the cache has travelled with me on the Rainbow Warrior from South Korea, swam with me above the deepest spot in the sea in the earth (Challenger deep, ~10kilometers deep) during a swimstop, swam across the equator, hiked around in Port Vila, Vanuatu, has been on the recent Greenpeace campaign against bottom trawling, and was on board when we anchored above the first Rainbow Warrior in Matauri Bay during the commemoration ceremony of the first bombing of the warrior.
The cache is in a green ammobox, and it is hidden under the roots of a lone tree in a grassy field, and you can see the spot where the RW was moored.
