Geocache Description:

This cache is located near the highest point in the Port Wing. But is "Down in the Cedar Swamp"

Thanks for looking into our cache. This is located on private property please use the parking location provided and go in from the nearest point. Your land owner is Frank Maracek. The land owner wishes to share with you the cedars that have been spared the saw for many years. There are many wonderful sights to be had in the surrounding area and there are several other caches very near by. We make an annual journey to the hill here, where we camp and most years try and take in the Cornicopia Fish Fry just a short drive east of Port Wing. Located just off the largest body of freshwater in the world, Lake Superior's water rarely rises to temps that will allow swimming comfortably. But on a hot summer day you can surely cool down in a flash! This cache was placed in Chris' favorite tree. Unfortunately he was unable to be with us this year and will be only able to watch from his CPU in Japan. So give a shout out to Chris when you find it. The container is a rubbermaid one with contents of your regular cache variety. Have fun and keep on caching... Parking at closest to cache location will be at N46 47.217 W091 19.899
