High Expectations Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Rattlingcrew: Greetings from GeoCaching.com

I have once again been looking at caches in the area which have been temporarily disabled for a while now. It appears that your cache has been under the weather for an extended period of time.

While I feel that GeoCaching.com should hold this location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time. I do not think we can do so any longer.

Therefore I have archived this cache. If you have not done so, please pick up any cache bits left behind as soon as possible.

When repairs to this cache are completed and it is time to have it reposted, it will be no problem. Just drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache. Better yet, the URL of the cache page. You will still be able to access your cache page just as before by going to your "My Cache Page" and clicking the link of your cache.

I will be more than happy to look at your cache again to see if it is within the guidelines of the GeoCaching.com website for placing of a cache.

Having caches posted as temporarily disabled for extended periods is particularly annoying for local cachers, as it still show up on their "to do" cache lists.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to the GeoCaching sport. I am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the near future.

Thanks for understanding our position,
Your friendly, but sometimes not real popular Kansas Admin.

Geocache Description:

A short trek from civilization....well, once on the site, civilization is still in view....but they won't see you.
You might want to carry a frizbee to blend in with the muggles, until you leave the beaten path.

This is a round 4"X8" screw top container with a 3.5" opening.... painted dark to blend.
I tried to place something for just about anyone in here. Hope you can find something just right for you.

The best route in, is from directly west of the site. Mind the no parking signs and park in designated areas.........police drive by there regularly.
