Geocache Description:

Located in the Roding River catchment area at the end of the Aniseed Valley unsealed road. Track suited to walking or mountain biking. Dogs not allowed.
Be prepared to get wet feet as there is 3 river crossings to negotiate each way.

Trip takes about 1 ½ to 2 hours return on mountain bike at a leisurely pace, from the end of road carpark. Open to the public 8am – 4.30pm, 7 days.
From the carpark cross the swingbridge and be sure to sign in at the caretakers house.
Follow the track to the old copper smelter which was closed down about 1909.
The cache is a 1 LT snap-lock container which contains the usual nic nacs and tic tacs and a Michael Jackson CD!
