This cache will take you on a walk through the streets of old Ringkøbing. You will visit several monuments and interesting places. From the final position you can extend your walk in nice surroundings with views over Ringkøbing Fjord. You will meet two historical persons:

Kaj Munk, clergyman and playwright, who lived and worked for many years in Vedersø north of Ringkøbing. He was born in 1898 in Maribo on the island of Lolland. He was killed by a German terrorist patrol in a forest near Silkeborg in 1944 during the German occupation of Denmark. You can read more about him at www.kajmunk.dk .

Ludvig Mylius-Erichsen, writer and arctic explorer, who grew up in Ringkøbing. He was born in 1872 and died in 1907 in north-east Greenland on his second expedition to this country. His body was never found. In Ringkøbing Museum you can see a fascinating exhibition about him.

The cache contains from the start a fish, an urchin, a snake, a radio, old postards, brochures from Ringkøbing Museum, TB Magical Key 1, logbook, pencil, and FFC.

Du vil møde to historiske personer:

Går tit forbi stederne uden at tænke over deres historiske betydning.
Cachen ligger noget off, hvilket gør det lidt svært.
