"Lowman Beach is small, but like beaches everywhere, it has some surprises...it includes about 300 feet of rocky, saltwater shoreline a few blocks north of Lincoln Park. Above the beach is an acre of grass with tennis courts, swings...view of the Olympics, Alki Point, and Williams Point spread out in three directions." (Excerpt from Enjoying Seattle's Parks by Brandt Morgan.)
We have placed this cache in celebration of our 5-year wedding anniversary. Our favorite Seattle rental was two doors down from this park. As you can imagine, we really miss our old "backyard" and view. We were married in our garden above the beach and had our big reception party at this park. What a blast! Maybe in another 5 years we will have another big party here!
The cache is only slightly larger than a bison capsule and camouflaged. Don't forget to BYOP. Must be extremely stealthy, especially in good weather. Please make sure cache is out of sight when you leave it. Feel free to post better coordinates. Posted park hours are 4 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.
