This cache is located at a tourist attraction and is beside an
excellent walking trail.
We placed this cache as we had been on a 10 day tour of Iceland by
bus and never got to do another cache. One day we went after one
but didn't have enough time to do it and get back to the bus.
Another day the bus went by one that was 120 feet away. This cache
is for all those of us that are not in a private auto. It is at a
wonderful spot with lots to see in the area. It is well protected
from the spring floods and winter snow. Located near a black sand
beach that would be good for cooling off. It is in a clear plastic
jar in a plastic bag. Contains lots of good things from the USA and
a TB that is only the dog tag and chain. This TB is trying to go
around the world from the USA going east to Europe. Please leave
this cache well hidden.
Note! This is a vacation cache and as I go to Iceland four times
a year on business, I will be maintaining this cache. A friend who
lives in the area and was there when the cache was placed will act
as its local maintainer.
