Dieser Cache ist platziert an einer Stelle in den Bergen
von Mallorca.
Es ist ein altes Trappistenkloster, das leider nur zehn Jahre
bewohnt war. Die Trappisten waren nach der franz. Revolution nach
Mallorca gekommen, da in Frankreich alle Kloster aufgelöst wurden.
Im Jahre 1835 unter Königin Isabella II von Spanien wurde aller
kirchlicher Besitz säkularisiert. Von da an verloren auch die
Mönche von Sa Trapa ihren Grund und Boden.
Inzwischen ist der GOB von Mallorca dabei das Kloster und seine
Anlagen wieder zu renovieren.

This Cache is placed at
a place in the mountains of
Majorca.
It is an old Trappist's
monestery which was inhabited, unfortunately, only for ten years.
The Trappists came to Majorca after the french revolution due to
all monesteries were dissolved in France. In 1835, under queen
Isabella II of Spain, all ecclesiastical possession was
secularized. From then on the monks of “SaTrapa” also lost her
ground.
In the meantime, the
GOB of Majorca is to be renovated the monestery and his
arrangements again.
