This is not a multi, so you can go straight for the cache or go via the Twisted Tree!
I grew up walking, running, riding, camping and driving around this area because it used to be owned by our cousins.
There are heaps of tracks around here but recently the Hobart City Council acquired the land and it is all now part of Bicentenial Park.
The council have installed a new track that starts at Lambert Avenue in Sandy Bay and winds its way through Skyline Reserve and the new park all the way up to the Signal Station at Mount Nelson.
There are 3 tree seats along this new trail, so you can sit, have a rest and take in some views.
You can park at any of the co-ordinates listed below and walk to GZ. Just remember that you are walking onto or off a mountain so at some stage during your walk, half of it will be uphill.

or here Enterprise Rd S42 54.943 E147 19.959 go via S42 54.979 E147 19.957 where the new walking track crosses the upgraded fire trail.
I suggest you walk to S42 55.280 E147 20.213 where you will find the start of a bushfire control line. You can walk along this control line right to GZ, which is just off this track. While you are there, take in the view of the valley and the lack of housing.
The other option is to go to the twisted tree at S42 55.291 E147 20.086 and follow the animal track around towards GZ. You will have to walk about 5m through the bush to get to the control line.
Enjoy this newly created parkland. I'm still finding new things around here. Take some time to look around!
When placed the cache contained a pack of cards, a bounce ball, a highlighter, a mini pen and the required logbook/pen/pencil.
