This cache requires a fairly long drive to get to.
about 120 KM from Nelson, the last 22 KM is Dirt road, but quite
suitable for a normal car.
As you get to the point overlooking the Tidal Pass, you will see a
sign that says lookout point 15 mins walk.
Park here and take the walk down to the lookout point.
From the sign use the clues below to find the final cache site not
too far from here at

A = Day in January New Zealand Sighted Divided by 2
B = Last digit in year he left home
C = Last Digit of weight of his boat
D = Second digit of the weight of his boat divided by 2
E = First digit of the day in January that the expidition anchored
in Tasman Bay
The current through this pass can reach up to 8 knots and there are
deep holes of 90 metres on either side of the pass. These two
things make this pass particually hard to navigate when in full
flow.
Cache is a 1 ltr camo box, not suitable for more anything other
than small objects, or maybee a small travel bug. It countained a
logbook and a few trinkets when first placed.
