Recently, the Mrs. and I purchased a new cottage at a lake in the
Whiteshell. We are excited and would love to have others check the
place out. Since this is such a unique group, we have placed a log
book in the area for visitors to sign as they make there way
through the area to locate other caches. There are many in the area
to visit, including two on a spectacular hiking trail only a few
kilometers away.
The previous owners were meticulous with the property and she
was an artist. Locate this unique artwork, take a picture of
yourself or your group next to the item and send it to us. Our plan
is to keep an album of everyone's pictures and where they are from
in the cottage.
The artwork is begining to show signs of weather so we ask that
you avoid climbing, sitting or touching it to prevent further
damage and to retain its state.
We hope that you enjoy your trip through the area. It truly is a
gorgeous park and geocaching is a great way to experience
nature.
Good luck and thanks for making us a part of your trip through
the Whiteshell. Be sure to say hi if we are around!!
Through talking with people that we have met on their visits or
through the posts from other cachers, some feel uncomfortable
coming onto our property, whether we are here or when we are away.
PLEASE, we encourage you to come (that's why we placed it here!!).
We have thoroughly enjoyed meeting other cachers and really enjoy
reading the comments in the log book. So by all means check the
area out and look for the cache!!
