kazuma: Hello fellow geocacher,

Someone has pointed me out this cache, since it has been temporary disabled for long time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don’t think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

When repairs to this cache are completed and it is time to have it reposted, it will be no problem. Just drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. You will still be able to access your cache page just as before by going to your “My Cache Page” and clicking the link of your cache.

I will be more than happy to take a look at your cache again to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Sagres é a vila mais ocidental da Europa, e foi mundialmente conhecida nos finais da Idade Média.Narra a história que Infante D. Henrique - o navegador como é conhecido, tinha uma escola de navegação na periferia de Sagres, mas o local exacto não é conhecido.

Sagres is situated inside the Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina Natural Park, at the most South-Westerly point of Portugal and Europe.
The coast around Sagres is dotted with more than 20 beaches: some sandy coves hidden at the foot of cliffs, others broad expanses of sand that stretch away to the horizon, all inviting you to discover them and rediscover peace and solitude. Here, in an increasingly developed world, we are before an unspoilt vision of nature.

Defendem os historiadores que seria no interior da fortaleza, defendida por terra pela imponente fortaleza e por mar pelos grandiosos rochedos.
É neste cenário onde a história ganha vida, que botânicos e observadores de aves observam a fauna e a flora. Outro cenário deslumbrante pode ser visto no Cabo de São Vicente

A cache está escondida junto do antigo forte da baleeira, o carro terá que ser estacionado num parque perto do local, com as seguintes coordenadas: N 37º00.550' W 008º55.897'.
Na zona existe uma placa a dizer propriedade privada, contudo, é permitida a passagem de pessoas para a zona onde está escondida a cache.
Cuidado com as escorregadelas, a ribanceira é perigosa
