This cache is located in the middle of Greater Goose Pond Forest, sometimes known as Drummer Hill. A map of the area is highly reccommended, and I have included a digital one below. This cache is not accessible by car, and you should leave yourself time to reach it...
The cache is near the intersection between the blue and blue/white trails and is accessible from any number of locations, including but not limited to Goose Pond, and Timberlane Drive. Note: The trail which mapquest has labeled "Old Gilsum Road" exists, but it is by no means a road. It is the Red trail, if you have a map. The area is perfect for just going for a hike or run, and it is Keene's primo destination for mountain biking! The cache is a peanut butter jar,containing a logbook, and a few trading items.
The area around the cache was logged by a previous landowner before the land was aquired by the city. As you walk in and out of the cache location, look at the trees around you. In some locations, the edges of the forested and older forest are very clear. From the southeastern side of the pond, it can also be easy to see the differences between the forest types.
