This is pretty easy going along here. Nice turnout next to the Alpine walking trail.
A short walk down from the Alpine trail towards the lakes edge. Camoed container about 4 in. across and 3 in. high. Small items inside to trade for equally small items. Remember that when in the San Bernardino National Forest, you must display an adventure pass when parking. And they are writing tickets. You can pick one up at any Forest Station, as well as the Discovery Center and numerous other locations around Big Bear.
