Rootin for a bone Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

bullit: Finally got here to check on it. Camo was still in place but container was gone which is really strange?

The trail is now marked as no trespassing probably because they don't want you to see the crumbling walls of Hwy 87.

This will return as a new hide with the same camo soon.

Geocache Description:

A camoflaged micro that marks a bizarre row of trees along the guadalupe river.

We were riding around checking out how far these trails go(you never know where they will dead end around here) when we came across the strange collection of trees.

I'd suggest riding a bike to this one but it is walkable from the entrance at Taylor. I'm not sure what the nearest legal parking is for this one, there is some sketchy parking close by(Hedding). We parked a couple of miles to the south and rode in on the the river trails.

The cache is on the east side and you do not have to leave the road to make the grab.

Enjoy!
