Geocache Description:

Desiccation cracks are formed during the drying out of mud sediments and are commonly known as mud cracks. As the mud layers dry out they contract causing the cracks to appear within the top layers of the sediment. With continuous baking from the sun the edges of the mud curl upwards giving the mud cracks a cupped shape. Eventually they will erode away only to reappear after the next rain.
Nothing special about the area, except no development. The new container is brown and about one pint in size... happy hunting.
