Cache is located in a very hard to reach location. It may appear to be a moderate hike but due to the terrian it is much harder then it appears. There is everything from impassable under growth, steep climbs, uneven terrian, water obstacles (lots of water obstacles), and
I had a hard time coming up with a name for this cache. I really wanted to call it simply "Why?". The reason being is that by the time a cacher figures out how to get to it they may be asking themselves "why did I do this cache?", "why would anyone put a cache here?", "why didn't I heed the warnings?", "why didn't I bring more water and/or food?" But in the end I decided that due to the location I would just call it Beaver Land, you will understand why when (if) you get there.
I can't stress enough that if you plan on trying this cache, please prepare before hand. Wear the proper clothing for spending several hours in the wilderness, bring plenty of water, bring something to eat, have a flash light in case it takes longer then expected, extra batteries for your GPS, and of course lots of energy. This is not just your typical run in and grab cache, there is really only one way in and out of the cache and I am not about to tell anyone how to find it, that is the point of the adventure and challenge. I will give this one hint, this cache can be approached from more then four directions, every one of these approaches will be hindered by water, only one is not (well at least not as much as the other three). The trick is to find that approach and even if you do there is a very good chance you will probably be getting wet on this trek.
Good luck and please make sure to be careful and be safe, this cache is not for everyone but for those who dare to try you are going to be visiting a location that very few others have visited and while you are there I can almost guarantee you will not see anyone else, however, chances are if you are quite you will see a whole lot of wildlife. Go early and enjoy the area, there are many places in the area that provide wonderfully scenic views of untouched Northern Wisconsin wilderness.
This Cache is a 12" by 4" tube filled with various items. I tried to squeeze as much into this cache as possible so those who dare to make the trek find something fun and maybe even useful as a result. Please try to leave other useful and rewarding items as a trade so as to make the next cachers trip worth it to them.
