After a long wait, this Cache has finally been hidden, and is
for the purpose of replacing one of our previous caches (
From Rags to Riches) which sadly was
not properly re-hidden, & was stolen. Hence this cache, located
not far from its predecessor, is essentially "Version 2".
This cache is meant to be Hard, a
Difficulty of 4. Once finished, Please re-hide this cache
Carefully & Properly. Do not make it Easier for
others to find. Please take the time to exercise the proper
level of Integrity required. Your co-operation is appreciated, so
that this cache will remain for many to come after you. Thankyou in
anticipation. All the best from everyone at team Chookies.
NOTE 1: Please DO NOT give away
the cache location through Suggestive Logs. Such logs WILL be
removed
NOTE 2: Please Take Extra Care NOT to crush, trample, or
break the plant life. There is NO reason to destroy the area
NOTE 3: There are 2 approaches to this cache. The Southerly
approach requires a short walk (approx. 20 metres) across some
uneven large rocks -Fun, and usually quicker, but slightly more
challenging! The Northern approach is grassy.
Some time ago, Melbourne Water began handing over large portions
of its land, usually swampy or flood prone, to “Developers” who
then developed the waterways into feature parks & lakes, as
well as the surrounding land into house blocks. The developers were
then able to sell the housing land, keeping the profit, whilst the
waterways/park areas were after the set period of time handed back
to Melbourne Water. The Waterways/Drains/Lakes become far more
aesthetically pleasing, and manage the water more efficiently both
by way of flow management, as well as natural bacterial treatment
of impurities, resulting in better quality water at the other end
(downstream). Such bacterial treatment is far more effective and
important than most of us realize.
The new residents receive nicer parks, & some even receive
lake views, whilst the developer gets to sell the house land at
Super inflated prices -$$$$$. Berwick Springs is one such estate,
where you will find some very satisfied residents, (along with a
few that have had “a little nose lift” -Ha Ha, Hee Hee).
The Cache is approx 1.5 litres. Remember to trade evenly &
fairly.
